We've been dating for nearly two years and hes great. We went through trails and some toxic things but for 7 months things have been great.
He keeps buying shit boxes, and redoing them and then realising he cant get rid of his car finance. Spending hundreds on tools and car parts. He then gets stressed etc. He realised he cant get rid of the car bc od the balloon dowpayment he didnt realose was factored in. Plus work hasnt been great.
I get it, hes stressed he gets emotionally withdraw. Suddenly i dont get much of the small romantic luxuries i did before, no pet names, easily annoyed etc
It botheres me to a point where i consider breaking up:

I’ve never been so depressed in my life. 1 1/2 years of sobriety , my partner of nearly 7 years , we broke up. We had a business together that I lost being a part of at all. I was unable to get a job after that. (How could I go back to working for someone else?) also, I used to be a cook. And that is a huge trigger for me now. I did work 4 days in the kitchen and I thought I was going to start drinking immediately. I can handle being in a bar and even serving drinks to people but being in the kitchen is rough. I’ve actually turned down some kitchen jobs recently because I feel it is a slippery slope. All of my old friends have abandoned me. (I was very suicidal after my breakup and nobody was there for me)Only the drunk ones try to reach out to me and I can’t stand them. I mean, I guess they’re all drinkers. I moved 1,000 miles away to a new city to start my life over. I don’t have a job. I don’t have friends. I go days without speaking to a single person. I’ve never been to a meeting. I’ve never relapsed. I feel like I’m on the verge of being broke and homeless. What is wrong with me!?

This week, we finally land back in our original timelines, 7 weeks later, with the experience to last us centuries! First off, thank you to everyone who participated! Over the last seven weeks, we've worked together to try new things, explore ancient lore, and challenge ourselves to reach newer and greater heights, building sustainable habits and changes that will stand the test of time!

Hello guys. 2 months ago a friend of mine played a joke on me by giving me a 98% HHC vape (milder form of THC) while telling me it is a CBD vape. I made a few huge vapes and I mean like 10 puffs but very big ones. After a few minutes I was in a severe Panic attack, which I experienced for a first time in my life. Brutal heartbeat , nausea, chills in my body, legs and hands numb. I asked him what he really gave me , but he kept insisting it is just cbd. I called my gf to come and pick me up. On the way home I experienced paranoia about this one friend giving me something which is not cbd on purpose and that he is doing it because he might be friend with a very bad person I was having problems with recently. But for the second part i was almost sure that is impossible. No hallucinations or any other form of paranoia/delusion. I’ve been having harm intrusive thoughts which scared me (the thought i might snap and act on them). The next morning i called him and he admitted about what he really gave me. After that I kept having panic attacks and disturbed sleep, zero appetite and dpdr for a few days. No hallucinations or delusions or strange thoughts except the one that gave me fear and panic - that i have broken my brain forever. I’ve had racing thoughts when falling asleep which were absolutely chaotic and irrational, making 0 sense and jumping rapidly from a topic to topic, but only when just falling asleep. If I opened my eyes and was fully awake, they immediately disappeared. I’ve read on google the day after the incident that there is connection between weed and schizo and that is what caused me extreme distress but I didn’t read any symptoms. The next 1-2 weeks things were getting better day after day and I decided I would do some online tests for schizo and read symptoms. After doing every single test I found I was immediately calmer , because I’ve never experienced even one symptom from the mentioned EVER. But I continued reassuring myself by reading and doing tests for the next 7-10 days, literally doing it all day. I was getting more and more concerned until I ended up in a new panic attack. I started constantly looking around and wondering if everything I saw or heard is real or am I hallucinating. Something with the corner of my eye or a momentary random sound. After a few days I decided I would swallow up my pride and start asking. Every time I’ve asked (hundreds of times) everyone else was seeing or hearing everything I did. So that wore off almost completely. Then the obsession with delusional thinking kicked in very hard. After everything I’ve read , all the examples of delusions that people have, I developed similar thought patterns. Some random neighbour would greet me with “hello” and i would think “wait, what if that person has some hidden meaning towards me in his mind?”. Which literally puts me in another anxiety attack, because I am terrified why would I consider such thing, why would even such a thought pass my mind as it is absolutely irrational. It’s been 2 months now. My sleep has greatly improved generally. The obsession comes and goes. Sometimes I will be happy and obsession free for days, laughing at my previous experiences and thinking it won’t come back. Then it comes back again for a few days causing me extreme distress. I lose my appetite again, lose motivation and enjoyment in life. In those days only very pleasurable activities with friends bring me out of this, sometimes completely and for hours I forget about it. I am almost 27 years old male. No family history of mental illnesses of any sort, no drug use of any sort, and most of all not a single similar experience of any sort my whole life. Quite the opposite. I was the most happy, motivated , cheerful and funny person in my circle. Except for a depression episode 12 years ago when I moved to a new city with my family, my life has been always very satisfying. 3 different psychologists told me that I can be sure I don’t have psychosis and it is GAD or ocd combined with medium depression. I’ve also went to a psychiatrist who didn’t quite have the time to listen to everything i wanted to say (for example the delusional thoughts) and he told me that nothing could happen from one time overdosing any drug. He pointed my age to be way above the age in which people get psychotic illnesses and said that I would have shown many signs of such much earlier in my life. I called him later that day for reassurance and he told me that he has more than 40 years of practice and is specialised in diagnosis of psychotic illnesses. He said he would have known if something isn’t right minutes after I’ve entered the room. He told me to remember this: “ i am absolutely and undoubtedly sure that the isn’t even a slightest chance of such thing”. This helped me get out of the circle for more than a week. And then I’ve read about prodrome and freaked out again.
What do you think guys? Anyone suffered or suffering from a similar situation? Any advices? I go to gym every day and see my friends all the time, i hate being alone. I started to regain some part of my motivation to work (much more to be regained as I am very motivated usually).

I am an India qualified lawyer and I have been studying in Canada for more than a year. I have been observing some interesting differences between Indian and Canadian culture in the context of federalism, regional identity and constitutional frameworks. This is not a critique of the Indian or the Canadian system, rather just a few observations that I think are interesting to share.
India is considered a federation, but in many cases, it is a relatively weak federation and a stronger unitary state. India's states derive their identity from their distinctive languages and culture. But in many ways for the top 10-20% of the population and for the segment of population that moves around cities a lot, India is one country and not necessarily a federation.

1. Canada does not have a ''Central Board'' like CBSE or ICSE for education, rather syllabus is exclusively created by each individual province. The only exception is IB (International Baccalaureate) which is an international program. This means local provincial history is a substantial part of every province's syllabus. If State Boards got their act together in India, I would prefer more localized education that encourages learning in local languages rather than a Central syllabus).
2. Unlike in India, you can't use your state drivers license to drive around the country indefinitely. You need to get a new provincial license from the province where you are moving to and pay the fee. BUT, you don't have to take a drivers' test again as every province recognizes the driving tests of the other provinces. (Points to India on this).
3. Every province in Canada has a different INCOME TAX rate (not allowed in India) and a different GST rate (allowed in India, but states don't maintain differential rates in practice). Also the ratio of Federal to provincial split in Canada is 1:2 but in India its 1:1. Under HST there is a federal rate of 5% and a provincial rate (varies among provinces). Administration of the tax is done by the Federal government on behalf of provincial governments. Earlier, GST was administered separately by federal government and each province had its own provincial sales tax (similar to what we had in India with state sales taxes) Notably, British Columbia refused to impose HST Quebec has its own version called QST. Both provinces continue to independently administer their versions of sales tax. (Points to India on this for having consistent tax administration).
4. While not relevant to India (lack of Universal health care), every province in Canada has its own healthcare system and ''health card'' that residents need to access medical services. If you move between provinces you only have three months to get a new health card. (Points to Canada on this).
5. Roads in Canada are only built by provincial governments. Federal government does not even build or maintain the Trans Canada Highway which leads to the TCH having six, four or even two lanes depending on the province. (Points to India on this).
6. Provinces have ABSOLUTE power within their provinces. There is something in the Canadian Constitution called the ''notwithstanding clause'', basically provinces can override the federal government on everything if they chose to. This is how Quebec has continued to be practically a semi-autonomous region of Canada. The federal government is powerless to stop this unless all ten provinces agree to remove this clause from the constitution (Points to Canada on this if you are a Federalist, India if you are a unitarist).
7. Law enforcement is a little more complicated, I have not yet understood exactly how federal law enforcement agencies within Canada operate (other than Canada Border Services which guards borders). The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is the only federal law enforcement agency within Canada's borders but they operate under ''contract'' with the provinces in which they enforce the law. I am not how this mechanism works, but on a surface level it seems that the Federal government has little ability to interfere with provincial law enforcement, unlike how CBI and CRPF run amok in India. (Points to Canada)
8. There is no centralized power grid in Canada. Every province has its own electrical transmission system. This creates weird problems when it can sometimes make more sense to export power south of the border to the US than share it with other provinces. Power costs vary widely across the country with Quebec and Manitoba having dirt cheap hydro prices and Alberta, Saskatchewan in the West (thermal) have higher power costs. India has managed to centralize transmission, unify the national grid and reduce power price differential among states. (Points to India on this).
9. Social observation - Despite relative homogeneity in language and Western culture (Quebec aside), there is a LOT of emphasis on local community and hiring people who have studied locally. This is less true in Toronto and Vancouver, but much much more significant in any other city. Unlike in India where an IIT-K grad is recognized and hired anywhere in the country, the reputation and ''hireability' of a university graduate is directly proportional to how close the employer is to the university. (Maybe points to Canada?)
10. Professional certifications: This one is weird, but some regulated professions, especially in health need to INDIVIDUALLY register in each province where they intend to practice. What a professional can or cannot do varies widely among provinces. For example, if a ''nurse practitioner'' in one province can prescribe some medicines, in another province they might not have the same ability to prescribe. I think this level of regulatory inconsistency is the root cause of the pathetic state of the Canadian healthcare system, compared to what it used to be. (Points to India for having consistent regulation across states and not having barriers to movement, we already gave Canada points for having public healthcare, so that is not relevant for this discussion)
11. Elections: In India, ECI conducts all state and central legislative elections, but state election commissions conduct local elections. In Canada, the federal elections board (Elections Canada) only conducts federal elections and provincial election boards conduct provincial elections.

So in conclusion, to outsiders Canada may seem like a federation with weak distinguishing characteristics among the provinces, when you look under the hood, Canada is a country with a weak federal government and very strong provinces. In direct contrast to India which is has strong cultural distinguishing features between states but relatively weaker state governments.

I, myself, do not. I just want to get some clarity on whether this is a normal situation. I recently learned this little bit about his HOA in a side comment and we didn't have time for me to ask more questions. It just kinda blew my mind and i just have to KNOW. I was always under the impression that HOA board was a volunteer kind of arrangement.
Part of their HOA dues goes into a pool of $250k that the five board members split as a salary. I HOPE/ASSUME they are the ones doing all of the property management duties, but I don't know for sure. The idea that being on your HOA board qualifies for a salary worthy of a full time job kinda blew my mind.
This is a community of about 800 homes in a pretty rural county. Property is pretty inexpensive out there, so big communities like this on converted farmland or wooded areas is not unusual.

There's also a "tot lot" that's not included in this list. Also described as TINY by my friend.

So in my other posts I’ve tried to get help figuring things out with my asus z rog strix z790 and why I could not play cod without freezing issues. At least 7 cores worth thermal throttle (shown in red in hwinfo64) I had to go and undervolt the best I could in the asus board but in the end it still would freeze. So I ordered a Msi z790 edge and right out the box I was able to run cod without freezing or the amount of stutters. I do however still get a couple cores that have the red “yes” but I’m still able to play without freezing.
Why is this?
I did also do a clean win11 install too so I can’t say if maybe bloatware played a part in the asus board. I do want to switch back to the asus board and find out if it was the clean install but I’m tired of taking my pc apart at this point and I have to return the board in 3 days in case it is faulty

Hello! I was trying to replace my Buick Verano 2013 built in car stereo and display with an aftermarket Android system that supports Apple Car Play.
It's the Seicane HD Touchscreen for Buick Hideo 2010-2014 Buick Verano 2015 Radio Android 10.0 9.7 inch GPS Navigation Bluetooth support Carplay #80083793
I didn't unplug the cars battery.
I disconnected all the parts from the previous system and wanted to power up the new one before trying to fit it in, apperntly I noticed I didn't have all the connectors but still just wanted to see if it powers on properly.
After putting in the car key and turning the power on I noticed I had the engine light on and seeing a warning Service Power Steering. The new system wouldn't turn on. I did try to fit a few more cables and turning the car off and on again and then decided to plug the old system back in just to get the car running again.
At this point I had the same result, the old system wouldn't power on and wouldn't display anything. My HUD started displaying low power mode, which I'm thinking the cars battery was draining and seeing a whole new warning saying Service StabiliTrak.
I noticed the car started acting odd, I'm thinking it might be due to the battery draining. The car AC would fluctuate oddly when on and engine clicks when I turn the key on. Even the lock system is acting up, just not opening all the doors when unlocking multiple times.
I'm wondering what my best course of action is here, if I short circuted these sensors, would they be user accessible?

4. Helmeted guineafowl (New): its sounds are one of the staples of Africa and is a common hunted upland bird in South Africa.

2. Silver Teal (New): a striking duck species commonly hunted in Argentina.
3. Ringed Teal (New): another commonly hunted duck species in Argentina.
4. White-Cheeked Pintail (New): a striking relative of the Northern Pintail.
5. Chiloe Wigeon (New): a striking relative of both the Eurasian and American Wigeon.
6. Pere Davids Deer (New): originally from China, there is an introduced population of this bizzare deer species in Argentina.

Yukon Valley:

1. Sitka Deer (New): found in southern Alaska, this deer can easily be slotted in along the forests alongside the lakes and rivers. Highly requested by deer hunters.
2. Dall Sheep (New): one of the biggest surprises was this species not being present on YK's release and has been highly requested since. There might have to be an expansion of this map to include more mountainous terrain for it, however.
3. King Eider (New): one of the most striking sea ducks.
4. White-tailed Ptarmigan (New): an upland bird to add to YK!
5. Wolverine (New): a feisty large mustelid, requested by quite a few people.

Cuatro Colinas Game Reserve:

1. Red-legged Partridge (New): one of the most common upland birds of Spain.

Silver Ridge Peaks:

1. Dusky Grouse (New): a species of blue grouse common in the Rockies, adds an upland bird.

Te Awora National Park:

1. Paradise Duck (New): a native duck of New Zealand, why it didn't make it in initially is anyone's guess.
2. Himalayan Tahr (New): along with Chamois, they are popular mountain game of NZ. Why they weren't in TA at launch is anyone's guess, despite an easter egg of them being present on map.

Rancho del Arroyo:

1. Gambel's Quail (New): one of the most popular game birds of the American southwest, why they didn't make it to Arroyo, yet Pheasant did is anyone's guess. Striking little birds!
2. Coues Deer (New): The grey ghost of the southwest, and distinct from regular White-tailed deer. Would fit in perfectly to the western and northern regions alongside the Pronghorn, Javelina, and Bobcats.
3. Goulds Turkey (New): with snow white tail feathers, this wild turkey is one of the most striking. Common in Northern Mexico, it would be a great addition to the mountainous pine forests of the eastern part of the map, while the Rio sticks to the low desert.

Mississippi Acres:

1. Wood Duck (New): a striking duck, and one of the most beautiful members of North Americas waterfowl roster.
2. American Black Duck (New): another common duck of the Mississippi region.
3. Gadwall (New): another bird to add to the roster.
4. Northern Pintail (New): a popular and beautiful duck of North America.
5. Osceola Turkey (New): yes, I know, I know. Osceola Turkeys are only found in Florida but given how we aren't going to get any more North American maps, and how the devs will take some creative liberties at times, might as well ensure the Grand Slam of turkeys makes it in game. Can be added to regions where Eastern Turkeys aren't.

Revontuli Coast:

New England Mountains:

1. Ruffed Grouse (New): A popular game bird of the Northeast, would give NEM another flagship species.
2. Woodcock (New): Once again, a popular upland bird of the Northern woodlands, giving NEM another new species.

Let me know your guys opinions on this!

I’m a 33 yr old female, 150 lbs, 5’5 that has been experiencing weird symptoms for 3 years that seem to come on for a few months then disappear only to reappear with new weird symptoms a few months later and so on and so on like a cycle. Which makes me believe is either autoimmune, hormonal or neurological. I have seen 5 different specialists, only to be told I have cervical dystonia, a single brain lesion which I was told was probably because of migraines I get from cervical dystonia, I was told I have very mild scoliosis of my upper back, I also had 6 polyps removed of my colon 2 were pre cancerous. My first main symptoms were vomitting everyday for almost 6 months after I had pneumonia which caused me to find out I had hepatits c from previous drug use (7 yrs clean) which I had cured last year after taking epclusa. During this time they discovered I had a positive ANA but my levels were not high enough to ever get a diagnosis. I also had high testosterone and high DHEA. Which makes me think possible pcos? But all these tests were done while I still had hepatitis so who knows what false positives it caused. Even after the hep c was cured however I’ve still had many symptoms. My last flare up ended in January. My symptoms then had me thinking I had POTS or some type of dysautonomia because of my super high heart rate at one point was 198 after standing. The cardiologist basically dismissed it as anxiety because everything seemed normal.
Now im having a lot of issues with my bladder, I had a uti 2 months ago and my uti symptoms still seem to persist even tho I have no uti. The symptoms went away for a good month then came back recently even tho theres no uti. The symptoms seem worse at night and sometimes after I smoke weed or I’m dehydrated. These are my current symptoms. A lot of these I had before but the uti like symptoms are new.

• [ ] Alternating of constipation and diarrhea. Sometimes both in the same day.
• [ ] Stomach cramping
• [ ] Urinary frequency and bowel frequency, I go to the bathroom several times every morning and at night.
• [ ] Bowel incontinence and less frequently urinary incontinence. Sometimes the urge to go comes on so strong I almost go on myself if I don’t make it to the bathroom on time.
• [ ] Uti like symptoms coming and going Feeling like I have to pee really bad and it’s just a little, feeling like my urethra or bladder is irritated, feeling like there’s pressure down there or like my muscles are tense around my bladder. Sometimes I try to pee and it’s like my bladder isn’t working and nothing comes out because my muscles are tense. Sometimes it feels like my clitoris area is extra sensitive for no reason. My uti symptoms happen mostly at night. Neurological symptoms:
• [ ] Random right eye twitches happened daily for a few weeks but has since stopped
• [ ] Frequent tightening of jaw and sore jaw mostly on right side. I notice I clench my jaw a lot even when I’m not stressed or anxious.
• [ ] Electrical zaps of pain in random parts of my body but happens a lot near my groin on the right side
• [ ] Lump near right ear and on my lower back
• [ ] Dizziness, sometimes walking around at work I feel like everything is tilting or just feel uneasy like walking on a boat
• [ ] Top of head feels tingly and like somethings crawling on
• [ ] Burning sensation in toes that lasts seconds or minutes
• [ ] Crawling sensation on my back, like my muscles are dancing around
• [ ] Muscle spasms, frequent Charlie horses in my legs and feet
• [ ] Trouble finding the right words, just don’t feel as mentally sharp as i used to Other symptoms
• [ ] Frequent Fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, sometimes I almost feel faint like if I exerted myself I would just collapse
• [ ] Ear ringing mostly right ear, sometimes it’s really loud piercing sound
• [ ] Pain on lower right back and lower right pelvis
• [ ] Very low appetite, but without much weightloss
• [ ] Sometimes periods of high appetite
• [ ] Heart palpitations? It feels like my heart skips a beat and more recently it’s caused me to involuntarily cough
• [ ] Eczema seems to flare up during periods of these weird symptom flare ups

Based on my symptoms I’ve thought I’ve had multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, pcos, endo, interstitial cystitis, of course cancer lol, and probably more. Anyone have any advice on who I should talk to or see or other possibilities? I have an appointment with an internist Thursday.

I’m 25/female from Scotland. I have been suffering from kidney stones since I was 17 years old. I’ve gotten lithotripsy for my first kidney stone, but all others after I have just passed at home or the hospital (if stronger pain meds were needed)
I actually had a really bad battle with my doctors with my first stone as they kept telling me I just had a kidney infection since I was “too young” for a kidney stone and they thought it was just in my head.. that was fun!
Anyways I’ve now had around 6/7 kidney stones, but I’ve never actually kept my physical kidney stone!
I didn’t even know that was a thing until I was looking on this subreddit a few months ago. My doctors never mentioned it to me or even said how I could do it. I always just heard the wee “plop” and flushed it lmaooo
I was just wondering how you all collect your stones? This is such a dumb question but do you just pee in a container and take the stone out? Or is there like a strainer your doctor can give you?
Do doctors recommend you keep them? Or is it just a hobby (no judgement lmao I want to do it)
I know from research online that sometimes doctors test them, but I’ve never been offered that.. should I be asking for that? I’ve done a 2 week urine collection but didn’t even get any advice from it! However I do know my lack of water intake will be playing a part.
Just a bit clueless on if my doctors are dropping the ball or not.. I get free healthcare through nhs which is lovely, but is notorious for issues like this. So idk if I should be telling them to test my stones lol

After my first family (worked for 14 months), I had three mainlander employers in a row as well as a Catonese employer with tertiary overseas education background (named as C below): - Employer W. : I worked for W's family for a month, and most of the time (spent 16 - 19 days in Japan) we were in Japan (as it was in December and the kid was having a winter break). I got Covid and couldn't go back to HK while the family got back to HK as scheduled. On the second day after Employer W. got back to HK, a staff informed me they terminated my employment. At that time I was still stuck in Japan due to Covid.
- Employer E. : Before Employer W, I worked for Employer E. for around 7 days. I told her on phone that my flatmate was tested Covid positive so I needed to ask for working from home for 3 days to see if I was infected or not. The next day or after the next day, the company secretary informed me that my employment ended.
- Employer E. : Since they had hugh difficulty hiring someone to take up the job, the company secretary and Employer E. had me back to work for the family. I however got laid off after working for them for almost two full months.
- Employer B. : Four aspects (the employer's personal stuff, his wife's, their household's, and their toddler's learning and nurturing stuff) of work were asked to do, including hidding the employer's secrets from his wife (in fact their marriage is not lawfully registered). I got too overwhelmed by the workload, and asked them to adjust/reduce my workload but they refused. I worked for them for around ten days (starting from the third day, I worked overtime every single day...).
- Employer C. : I admired this employer a lot, and thought he was different from most of the employers I've met (I prefer to work for someone whom I admire). I waited for his offer while letting the other three employers to wait for me (yes, I made up some white lies to hold the offers), and finally I got his. I was totally frustrated and low in spirits by hearing the news last week after working for him for 20 days.
So, please tell me anything pops up in your mind after reading this thread. Thank you.

So I decided to build my first PC recently, and landed on these parts listed in this link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3kxkhk
There are still a few parts that I am sure of.

• I was wondering if it is still worth getting a Ryzen 5 5600x now in 2023 or if I should just go with the Ryzen 7.
• The motherboard is the most iffy part for me. I am not all that educated on what motherboard I should get so I watched a few videos and messed with my pcpartpicker list to land on the Gigabyte B550M as it was one of the only ones that didn't have some compatibility issue.
• I also wanted to know if the (MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6500 XT 4 GB) is worth its relatively low price (It is listed at $185.99).
• Finally, I was wondering if there are any suggestions as to good monitors that I could get.

I usually play open world games and mmorpgs. I only play a couple FPS games. Based on this are there any tips that could help improve my experience? I am open to any tips as to any other part in my list but keep in mind my budget is between $1,000 and $1,200.

This is my second time entering the job searching process after about 7 months with a bad tech company. It took me a week or 2 to start getting interviews last time I was applying but now after almost a month I haven't heard anything back. Part of the problem, I assume, is my resume - which I've updated to account for more recent experience.
