For context, ive done weightlifting for a little over a year and i love it so much. I dont wear my binder to lift and am pre-t so i dont pass super well in the gym i go to, however my trainer is a big ally and my partner comes with me so i feel fine there.
Recently a friend of mine invited me to workout in our highschools gym with him, since he knows i really like lifting and they do it as well.
this friend is super great and a big trans ally (they also use any pronouns, just typically he/him). But the idea of being without my binder on around school friends in any sort of school enviroment is too stressful and would make me too dysphoric.
I ended up just telling them that Id be uncomfortable in the school gym (didnt mention why), and he was completely understood but I feel really bad because he's cool and id love to work out with him. I honestly wish it was safe to wear a binder to workout, or that i had a smaller chest so tape would make me flat.
I just feel sad that an opportunity to workout and spend more time with someone cool was wasted because of my chest dysphoria.

I maybe missing something that is pretty easy to see or find out but google isn't helping too much so I thought I would ask here

Hi All,
Going on a driving holiday in Scotland for a week with my partner in late June. We'll both be driving the same car, which will help reduce stops etc. Planned all our stays, and we'll be leaving the Caingorms on Saturday morning for the trip back to London.
We can get back late Sunday night, so staying over somewhere halfway on Saturday night makes a ton more sense for me and her than trying to do a mammoth drive in one day!
Places we're currently considering:

• Newcastle for city fun;
  
• somewhere around Hadrian's Wall for a bit of historical sightseeing;
  
• or Whitby for coastal fun and the best fish and chips in the UK apparently!
  

Edinburgh seems like it would leave us too long to drive on Sunday.

This plant is 21 days old in Fox Farm soil. My runoff pH is 6.9. It seems excessively yellow. My previous runs have been much greener in the same soil.
The light is an HLG 135, which is currently dimmed down to 75 watts, and hangs 30 inches above the canopy. I’ve been using this setup for a few years, and whenever I try to go above 75 watts in veg, the plant burns. I usually go up to about 100 watts in flower.
Could it be an iron deficiency?
But, this is new genetics for, so maybe this is a healthy color? Because growth is still very vigorous.

So y'all already know how your emotional state and anxiety and POTS all kick to take turns kicking off and interacting with one another.
This is just a PSA/shout-out to all you people who have a hard time driving.
I used to get really bad POTS flares/presyncope-/anxiety?attacks while driving. Like, cold sweat, can't breathe, shaking, disassociating and 'coming to' further down the road than I remembered. I never lost consciousness but it was so uncomfortable and I felt so unsafe I stopped driving and became a home body. But no more.
I've been in therapy for my OCD and dealing with this stuff. I've been working on going for walks/runs and dealing with heart rate fluctuations fall away from my house. I've gotten a lot better at it.
My therapist believes my POTS symptoms are real- however, a lot of my OCD is somatic- I obsess over body sensations. I often obsess over breathing, swallowing, and bodily sensations, worrying about vomiting, dying, passing out, seizures, ect. She believes obsession over POTS symptoms leads to a panic attacks.
Today I'm going to try to drive my car 10min by myself. I am perfectly fine whenever I drive with a loved one- furthering the belief that my anxiety and potentially physical symptoms kicks everything off.
So today I'm doing it. I'll talk to my dad on bluetooth while I drive, and if I start to feel badly I'll pull voer and have him come meet me, but I am a slave to this no longer!

This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.

I'm looking for a really portable way to get satellite radio in my car and plane while I'm flying through my headset (which has bluetooth). I really like the form factor of the Xmp3i and there is someone locally that's selling one on Fb marketplace pretty cheap.
Can you still get subscription on these!? Do these work well in a car or plane if it has a clear line of sight (through some windows)? I realize that I will have to get a 3.5mm to bluetooth adapter.

A while back I started writing down ideas for season 4 of Kuroko and my friends liked it and said I should post it here so here goes!
Kuroko: After Kagami leaves and Teppei has to stop playing, it looks pretty bleak for Seirin, however on the first training session of the new year they all come back from holiday and to their surprise, Mitobe has grown! not a ridiculous amount, but enough that his now 6"3-6"5. But the biggest surprise is that when Kuroko walks in, to all of their surprise he has hit a growth spurt, now standing at a solid 6" - 6"1. Everyone noticed him, due to his new growth spurt his lack of presence is gone! His greatest strength is gone. So for their first practice game, where they are testing the new recruits (who are all pretty strong considering Seirin won the cup last year and a lot of prospects would want to go to a strong team) and Kuroko is almost useless, his passing sucks because his size means he lost the tempo of passes, because of his new height his shotting technique has too high an arch and he misses, he can no longer ghost around the court.
So he is benched, and during the first tournament, he does nothing but feel useless. He has special training with Riko and even Kagetora, but he still struggles, but during the season he would have meetings and games with each of the GOM where they would help him grow, Murasakibara teaches him to block, Aomine teaches him to use his dribbling, Mido teaches him to shoot with a high arch, Kise teaches him to use his instincts and Akashi teaches him to pass better. By the end of the season, Kuroko would be able to do it all, not as well as the other players, but better than other non GOM players. Kuroko gets better with his version of emperor's eye. I imagine that he would be able to enter the zone and the true zone, considering he has the greatest love for the game and his team than anyone else.
Kise: has a story line where his body isn't suited for Basketball, the toll that his ZPC puts on him is massive, and due to his modelling he has been afraid to put on muscle to ruin his physique so he needs to learn to let his fears go and train his body to handle ZPC, maybe he gets an injury and for his rehab trains his muscles and eats more so his body grows slightly bulkier and broader (not like Silver but more like Kioshi).
Aomine: now has the motivation to work with his team and train, but with Kagami leaving he worries that the motivation will be gone, but he slowly through the season regains the passion he had in the early scenes of him at Teiko, he enjoys time training Kuroko, facing Kise and Akashi, as well as getting to know and form friendships with his teammates Ryo and Waka.
Midorima: has little growth until towards the later part of the season, he gets beat again, and begins to realise that he is currently (aside from Kuroko) the weakest of the GOM, even telling Takao that he is the only GOM who will never enter the GOM. Akashi points out that this is because he thinks to much during the game, he doesn't rely on instincts, he is too cerebral. However, before his final game in the show, his team are facing another GOM team, and he realises his star sign is weak while his opponent is strong, and the lucky item for the day is missing. Midorima basically accepts defeat and his team are behind going into the fourth quarter. He tells Takao that them losing is fated, and Takoa asks him to look at the team, and the fans, his he willing to accept that they will lose without a fight, and suddenly in the game Midorima decides that he doesn't care what fate is telling him, if fate is against him then he will take destiny in his own hands and win. Then he reaches the zone. With his three pointers they close the gap and narrowly lose out.
Not sure yet about story lines for Murasakibara and Akashi, maybe something to do with Akashi being threatened by his father that for losing the game to Seirin he has to give up basketball, but Akashi tells his dad that he won't give up, he will fight, but if he loses again then he will give up the family name.
At the end of the season, all of the GOM including Kuroko are invited to play for the Japanese youth league for their final year of highschool. The final moments of the series will feature a time skip to when the players are in their twenties, and they are all heading for the Olympics, where Kuroko enters the stadium where the players of all the nations are gathering, and stares at Kagami, who now players for the US team, and smiles.

What’s going on everyone? So basically I transferred to CSULB last year during the fall semester and was having the time of my life…for the first 2 weeks lol. Lo and behold, my national guard unit got the word that we were deploying out of the country, so I unfortunately had to get my admission deferred. Well 9 months later and I’m still hanging out here in lovely Kuwait, but I’m only a couple months out from going home, and getting ready to re-apply for the spring 2024 semester. My VA counselor told me to fill out the return from military leave form when I was ready go back to school, but the instructions seemed a little vague. School applications do t start until august so I still have some time, but I didn’t know whether to fill out the form now, or after I applied to the school again, or what. I activated the navigation and the notifications in navigation setting but still I only get the notification when i am already off-track 🙃

Had the distinct pleasure and f meeting a friend of the CEO last night.
Went to pick up some stuff as at a restaurant. Sent my usual “Heads up, I don’t cross the bridge” text that I send everyone that I match with.
In my area, there are people always trying to go across a bridge but once you’re on the other side, there’s no work, no cell service, and Uber doesn’t pay the toll back.
Pickup is 15 minutes away which is usually way too much but it’s slow with all the college kids gone and I’m getting an $8 surge so I have to take it.
I get there, greet the sustainers, start the ride, and boom! They’re going over the bridge.
I apologize and tell them that I won’t be doing the ride.
The woman starts freaking out on me about how long they waited for me and now they won’t find another ride.
I very calmly tell her that that is why I send that text before I come. It saves us both time. She gets out and slams my door like she’s trying to break the window.
Her husband is so drunk he has no idea what’s going on. He’s still sitting in the car, asking his wife “Where are we going?”
Wife: “He’s not going to drive us because he’s a fucking asshole!”
So I say “I’m an asshole for texting you 15 minutes ago saying that I don’t cross the bridge?”
Wife: “Fuck you, loser!”
So once the guy gets out, I pull into a parking space to report her.
Naturally, just as I’m about to send it, I get another ride request that resets the app and now I have to start over.
Right as I finish up the 2nd report, the two of them walk up to my car and she leans in toward my window and says “We know everybody that’s at this restaurant and we’ll tell them not to take a ride with you. So just leave.”
I was like “That’s great. But I’m not waiting for another ride. I’m reporting you to Uber.
She repeats what she’s just said, verbatim.
And so I do the same.
At which point she tells me “Good! I know the CEO of Uber.”
And I said “I’m sure that you do. I’m sure that he’s got tons of friends in Buttfucksville Ulster County. But I seriously doubt he concerns himself with low level driver v rider disputes.”
She uses some choice words and I may or may not have called her a fat cow.
Now her husband starts leaning in, almost trying to get his whole head in my car.
I repeatedly tell him to back up and give me some space.
Dude is doing that think where he’s had a little too much booze and it’s making him think he’s a better fighter than he is.
Eventually, I get enough room and I pull out of the parking spot and start to leave.
They start walking back to their friends and he yells to them “He’s fucked! That guy is so fucked!”
I stop and ask “Who’s fucked?”
He doesn’t say a word.
I repeat “Who’s fucked?”
Nothing.
So I drive away.
Moral of the story?
Be careful out there because you never know who’s friends with the CEO and you don’t want to be the one that’s fucked.

I bought a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Electric RWD PRE in 2022. My first maintenance service costed $701 CAD in dealer place. Was it reasonable?
I think the maintenance service price $701 is not reasonable. Most people told me that the Electric cars need less maintenance service items.
The maintenance service of my 2018 Honda CRV was less than $100 CAD.
If the maintenance service is so expensive, why should we buy Ioniq 5?

Found that it wasn't working one day and after doing some searching, i found that it was because my proximity sensor wasn't working (i turned back on lift to check phone to see if it was working and it wasn't). So i used this pricing sensor reset/fix, and after calibrating it and rebooting my phone, it started working again! don't know why it brings in the first place on my 7a.

I’ve noticed lately that when I open my Amazon music app in the car it will automatically connect to my echo dot device at home meaning I can’t hear anything in the car unless I go to disable the connection which is dangerous to do while driving. Is there any way to prevent this?
