What do you deem out of character in Dramione? And is your character standard based on books or movies? (For example, in movies Tom Felton works overtime to give us a somewhat redeemable Draco whereas Hermione is much more dimensional in books, imo)

Facts about me:

• I have been roleplaying since 2012. Yes, I got experience under my belt, and yes, my ideas usually have really long reads, but don't let that scare you off! After the starter is off, I may lower myself down to a decent paragraph or two, sometimes three! It all depends on what I've got to work with.
  
• My timezone is EST. I'm awake from 9am - 2am and I'm usually free unless I'm busy doing house chores, out of the house, asleep, or playing video games on my switch. I'm usually become REALLY active at or around 8pm.
  

Rules:
1: if you don't like 50/50 mixture of sex scenes and story, don't bother hopping into my inbox. I'm fine with sex scenes, but when it's constantly back to back, the roleplay itself gets boring.
2: Be literate. No one liners. I like to write..it's annoying when I send a 2-3 paragraph response and I get 3 lines...just...no. I am not accepting people who are just starting out! If you aren't experienced in writing or roleplaying, kindly stay out of my inbox.
3: Be okay with playing canon characters. I'm mainly doing fandom roleplays right now and it's going to be Canon x my oc. No, I'm not doing double ups. Do not even ask, because the answer will be no every time. I do not give a shit if you think that makes me 'lazy' or 'selfish', if you've got a problem, you can simply ignore or block me. Commenting on my post to bitch and whine about me not doubling up will only result in me blocking you. The ONLY time I'll double up, and if I'm confident enough, I'll only do female characters. I suck at males. Got a problem? Not my issue. Block and move on.
4: Roleplay in third person. I can't and won't adapt to first. Don't even bring up the idea of you playing first person and me playing third. Believe it or not, I've been asked this twice and that is just a hell no for me. The only time I do first, is when I'm writing into my book.
5: if you don't know how to share ideas, then don't bother messaging me. I'm tired of carrying the story when the other person doesn't help. If you've got ideas, then PLEASE speak up! Your opinion on the roleplay matters too! I'm an easy going person, and easy to get along with (dispite my rules).
6: DO NOT control my character. I control what she says, does, hears, sees, ect. I don't control yours, so don't control mine. HOWEVER, if it's highly necessary and needed, then run it by me first and ask me. Just leave me some wiggle room so I can make a decent response. Failure to comply by this rule, results in immediate drop of the rp.

Yes, I've updated my rules just a tad. I do not care if it makes me sound mean or rude, because I'm neither of these things. I'm just tired of putting these rules down for a specific reason and they go ignored because I can tell when someone hasn't read them, and lied about it. I'm just trying to get my point across and roleplay. I'm a very easy going person who loves to make friends on the side (which I've somewhat given up on making friends...only a selective few have actually gained my friendship).
Do not hop into my inbox with a simple 'hey' 'hi' 'sup', etc and for God's sake, don't message me with a 'rp?'and proceed me to flash me with your talliwhacker. I promise you, you'll get your feelings hurt and I'll be here laughing at ya 😂. Nobody wants a peen on their screen. Do not send me an image of your one eyed noodle. Thank you. i want to replicate his sound (even though its impossible) and ive seen this black kit with the three cymbols, 2 rack toms, 2 bass drums, and 2 floor toms. i always hear so much about how good of a drummer he is but i never hear anything about his tuning or what drums he used other than ‘premier’

This scene gave me goosebumps. This is the moment when Shiv realizes that the power dynamic of their relationship has reversed forever. Shiv and Tom are a curse to each other that neither one of them will ever truly escape.

the whole show kinda ended abruptly we got roman and wtf he is going to do with his life and poor kindall i mean he could be dead even but if they made a new season i can totally see him making a comeback work to earn his place maybe plot to acquire PGN and try to fu ck off with mencken which is the biggest plot that they can build around it i mean they have confirmed that the election wasnt totally decided yet so it would be mencken biggest fu ck up to bail on kendall and rome when his footing isnt solid yet we would love too see this kinda of battle and of course our boi elon cucking tom and how he is going to run the company and shiv baby and the family stiuation
I dont know I mean I am no where near done with this show and a new season would be a dream come true

My fiancé and I were just talking about the tension in the air during the Blink set…We’re Tom and Mark beefing or annoyed with each other? Or was that just them being them?

Been struggling for awhile and maybe people can weigh in who’ve been in my position? Might be thinking I’m non-binary?
I’ve been confused for awhile. I feel like I lean feminine in how my personality is, but in a masc way? I want to present masc but in a feminine way.
I want to be with women, but more in a queer way. I don’t really relate to how cis men are with women.
I thought maybe I’m fluid too? Some days I’m more feminine and wish I had more femme body but other days I’m pretty good with being more androgynous.
I think the fact that there “is no specific way” to be non-binary is the problem maybe? I just want…feel the need to identify and find my place. I want to belong I guess :/ I thought I was a trans woman but my wavering and sometimes even content with presenting masc throws me off.
But ugh I see women who dress/present in a more masc way and I’m so into it. I see two feminine people loving each other and I want to love a feminine person that way, not in a cis way. I just feel so fucked up all the time lol can’t relate to cis women and can’t fully vibe w some trans women.
It’s so weird. Honestly if I could be born again and choose, I’d be born female but would probably get top surgery and be more “Tom boy” in presentation. But I don’t feel that neeeed to transition fully. I don’t want a fully feminine body all of the time…Idk it’s so weird and I feel lost.

Channeling Icarus, Kendall flew too close to the sun.
Logan did not intend for any of his unserious children to lead at the end. If he really wanted it, he would have appointed one and not seek the GoJo deal. In his last days, he kept Tom close.
Even prior to knowing Matsson’s plans to appoint another CEO, Shiv reached out to Tom.
It’s incredibly sad but I think the vulnerability of pregnancy made her acknowledge she needs help and she’s not going to get it from her family.
With Tom, her child (though certainly not her) has a chance of happiness and love. Tom wanted a kid with Shiv more than anything—he said so multiple times before.
Why deny their child for the love she so desperately sought from Logan?
In the end, she had the self-awareness to understand it was never meant to be for her. I think it clicked when Rome said “we are all bullshit”.
Doesn’t feel that way but she broke the cycle by putting her future child first. Doing so at the expense of her happiness.
I can respect that.

I had a thought that I feel the riot scene for Roman was what lead to his “this is bullshit” epiphany.
Roman, Kendall, Shiv, Tom etc had this intense evening in ATN and basically helped to shape one of the biggest global superpowers for the next at least four years. They argued and decided on something so monumental for an entire country. From Roman’s perspective none of the election was ever coloured by anything other than selfish desires.
When he leaves and goes to the riot, I think that witnessing that revolt and realising that no matter their power that people won’t take it sitting down and will fight it altered his worldview.
More importantly, I think him getting hit was the biggest change. Despite their money, political moves or any other aspect of their unfathomable wealth, power and status, he still got physically attacked. I think for Roman this was a very raw and visceral moment of anxiety and shock that something as simple as a punch can floor him at any minute and his power can do nothing to stop it. He was stripped of the entire facade and in a way realised his own fragility and mortality.
He grew up abused despite his power but part of his internal justification for that abuse might be that the privileges he received would protect him from external hurt. He was abused by his father but in turn his father’s wealth gave him protection from the world and he accepted the abuse he knew to avoid the abuse he couldn’t foresee in the real world.
When he gets hurt at the riot, despite this power, he realises then that none of that will ever protect him in the way he thought or wants. He realises then that no matter what he is not safe from abuse and it has always been a facade; everything they’ve done is bullshit.
Would love to hear some other thoughts, I’ve not considered the theory in much depth but it was a kind of initial reaction.

It makes for sound business logic.
It makes perfect sense from a narrative perspective too.
Tom is the puppet suit that makes sense. The deal from a shareholders perspective makes sense. The Roy kids (who are all a joke) losing their influence and power makes sense.
Kendall as CEO would be an awful decision from both perspectives. What a shit ending it would have been if he'd ended up on the throne. Way too predictable. And he has crushed or negatively impacted the stock price more than once.
Tom becoming CEO not only makes for a totally reasonable decision business-wise having been the Chairman of ATN, but it also wraps up the Roy kid's narrative perfectly.
Everyone kicking off about the ending, are all so invested in a single character of their choosing, they can't accept an ending they haven't predicted or wanted.
For me, the show wrapped up perfectly, and though some may disagree to a certain extent, everyone writing the show off as a failure should probably realise it's not all about them. Funny how the Roy kids and their sense of entitlement is being mirrored by many who feel like this show should have been written just for them! 🤣

Shiv won in the end.
Her brother at the top, the one thing she spent most of the series fighting tooth and nail to avoid, with whom she would have no leverage once the Gojo deal fails,
Or her husband (and her child's father), with whom she won't have much leverage (love doesn't count as leverage in this series, neither does children for that matter), but who would at least listen to her, a chance to save the relationship she tried (in her own... fashion) to save for at least the later part of the show.
Of course she would choose Tom.
And it worked. Tom has no allegiance to Karolina, they aren't close, they aren't friends ( I doubt they spoke cordially even once in the entire series) but still, the simple "Where's Karolina?" to Hugo made perfect sense.
Also, this is Succession. No scene or dialogue is without purpose. Especially in the Finale.
Karolina asking Shiv to fire Hugo. Tom asking "where's Karolina?" when Hugo tries to weasel his way into the greener pastures of king Tom....Shiv won, or atleast made the best, most logical decision she could.
