I resort to my absolute solver that I had brewing inside my head, “Time to die you bucket of bolts!” Shred two other murder drones with my hand and fall to my knees in pain. I look into the eyes of the last terrified murder drone and grab my rail gun. I charge at the last murder drone while tearing off the tail of one of the other murder drones and stab the last drone in the head. She bleeds out waiting for JCJenson in space to arrive because anti-molecular tail wounds are impossible to lick on the head. Just like the founding drones intended!

we have been in a relationship for 5 months but i have known her for the past two years she is the best thing that has ever happened to me and i have feelings for her and i do love her shes always been a overachiever and has worked hard for this opportunity i dont want her to leave honestly there are good opportunities here too but i dont want to stop her or pressurize her to stay.
she asked me this would it hurt us and i was a bit taken aback and took some time to respond i told her that if she does leave we should not date and remain as friends if she wanted she keeps on saying that she doesnt want me to suffer so we should break off now and focus on our studies and career and if its ment to be it will.
but this just feels like a death sentence to our relationship she always thinks rationally so it makes me feel like its easy for her i dont want to lose her i do not know what to do .
am i to be blamed if i think im not ready for this even if i love her i see people being so sure about their descisions i honestly dont know how .
i do not want to doubt her but due to my previous experince of geeting cheated on makes me worry about the distance never told her this iits not like i dont trust her but theres always that doubt in my mind .

A friend in recovery is working the steps and has found AA to be really helpful. Recently they called me upset after their sponsor presented them with a list of character defects for their fourth step. I expressed concern over this as I thought the point of a personal inventory was self-reflection and suggested looking for a new sponsor as this one is 20 and my friend is almost 30, so maturity may be a factor.
We spoke again a while later and they said they talked with their sponsor about it and their sponsor said she did this because she struggled with her fourth step and basically googled character traits which wasn't really helpful, so her sponsor did this for her as well. My friend has rationalized this response and said they might have done the same thing so maybe the way their sponsor did things was more productive. Plus they are reluctant to get a different sponsor due to the work of finding and connecting with a new one.
Does this raise red flags for anyone else? I want to be supportive of my friend because AA has been a life-saver for them, but I worry about the influence a sponsor has on a person vulnerable in recovery and my friend explaining away behavior that concerned them gives me an icky feeling. I grew up fundamentalist so I know I have a bias against AA as it felt very cultish to me (I know this is not everyone's experience, just a personal preference), hence why I am asking others for their perspective.

Basically the title - I've also been informed this has essentially "put a target on my back" and I should "keep my head down" by other staff (who now seem to be knowledgeable of my ADA request?). Im not sure if this is something i should report to HR or just notate and leave alone/find other employment quickly.
More info - I've always worked jobs where I didn't need accommodation (social & generalized anxiety + auto immune disorder where I get sick extremely easily). Those jobs always had a private office or cubicle I could "control" the sanitation etc along with air purifiers.
Current Job at a large state institution moved me and the 5 other people from our private cubicle with no foot traffic location to a different location that has us a foot apart with a constant flow (health risk) of other staff walking in front of me (triggering my social/general anxiety).
We were notified 4 days beforehand so I immediately applied for an ada accommodation via HR specifically citing WFH but since I hadn't seen the space I'd be happy with any other option available in building that protected my mental health and physical health. They hadn't gotten back to me by the time we moved and i notice there was a more secluded desk that faced a wall being reserved for a different lateral staff member not moving for months. I asked the new supervisor, explaining my situation, if i could move there. I was told she wouldn't do that without HR telling her to via an ada accommodation and only if she felt it was "reasonable" as she only had to give me "reasonable" accommodations if they worked for her.
so I wore a mask and stepped away from my desk often to calm my anxiety as much as possible (obv the last part not a long term solution). My ada accommodation was approved early Friday morning when the HR lady called I informed her I was perfectly fine to move to that desk as I felt it would solve all problems. They and the supervisor agreed to it so it was approved. Later that morning my direct report (under the supervisor who assigned the seating) came to us and pulled us 6 together for a meeting citing that either we need to "learn to adapt or find other employment" and to stop being "extra" about this move. All the while staring at me heavily. After they left my coworkers asked if that was really directed at me as they felt it was. I agreed but my anxiety was so high i didn't really know what to do.
Later that day I got a phone call from a friend who works at the new location (ironically we were all wfh for the rest of the day) that word had spread about my ADA accommodation and that it was now putting a target on my back from higher ups and that I really should keep my head down and stop causing waves. Via text another person confirmed the same sentiment as well.
My anxiety has been so high all weekend, especially today since I am to return tomorrow. I'm not sure if this is all something I should report to the HR dept (who was also not the nicest when I was doing this ada accomodation) or if I should just leave it, keep my head down and try to find other employment quickly. I've got an interview or two coming up from prior inquiries since other things have thrown up red flags (two different superiors talking about "do not speak about pay with each other - one even put it in a text message to us) that will hopefully get me out of here.
I'm sorry if it's so wordy...and hopefully someone reads this and can advise. I am trying to find other employment asap but my town it's hard to find anything that can pay well enough to support I and my child.

Right. So I got myself a desk(only one I was able to get at walmart. Ikea too far out from where I reside) and I don't have plenty of space available.
My HP24 monitor and Prometheus XVII gaming laptop(on a stand) take about half of the space available. In the future once more money comes in, I'll be looking into replacing my monitor for 2560 x 1440(to match my pc) but that's way down the line.
Then I have a logitech k520 keyboard and logitech m510 mouse that have been going strong for close to two years now. But I'm looking to replace because once I connect my snowball mic(no stand yet) I have damn near zero space available lol.
I'm on a tight budget after getting that desk, so I don't mind buying used or pre-owned. Ideally $100 max for an even split or spend more on a keyboard then mouse or vice versa.
I saw lot of posts mentioning hand size and this is the image I followed. Measurements are.

I’ve been back and forth with my insurance company since I gave birth a week ago. The claim was filed back in March, with it officially starting the 20th of May. The dozens of different people I spoke to gave varied answers.
I’ve been told it takes 10 days to verify all the information given. I don’t qualify for FMLA, but my case manager (who has changed twice) keeps trying to file FMLA for me. This leave is given to me by my job fully paid, not the state or federal which would be unpaid and both of which I don’t qualify.
I’ve sent in all the paperwork the very day I gave birth: May 20th. Case manager said she would talk to my boss and the hospital to verify that Monday, May 22nd. I haven’t been given any updates since then and was only told “it takes 10 days” which technically should be the end of this week. My job doesn’t have an on-site HR, but I do have a number I could call even though they’d probably refer me back to the insurance company.
Any idea on what to do? I can’t even check what paperwork they received or haven’t received and I feel like I’m gonna get dragged for weeks if I don’t try to push this issue.

Me and my most recent partner have been on and off, but we always come back to one another. With our current break, I've pretty much assumed that he will talk to me when he is ready and something will happen, but you can never be certain. For context, I'm moving 2 hours away for school and he said he was worried about not liking the distance, but he had been promising me that he would make it work. I am frustrated but not surprised. I've probably made him sound like a douche, but this is not a connection I'm willing to sever, so I don't need to hear that it's time to let go or whatever. Luckily, I enjoy spending time with myself and growing with myself so I am not concerned about being alone. Anyways, he has yet to unfollow me on anything which I did almost immediately. Also, when I friended him back on snapchat because I felt I was being childish, I noticed that he has been posting more than usual. Take those as you will, but he posted two snaps of two different angles of his face, and at first I tapped past them and maybe rolled my eyes a little. But I went back to look at his story because I'm delusional, and he was wearing earrings(they were each from a different pair so this was intentional) that I had left at his house and my sister's necklace that he had found in her room (he has sticky fingers but no one is upset about this he just collects random things). I don't want to confront him because if there was nothing behind it, then I look stupid. However, it feels like he's trying to play games and it's cruel. I've been really devastated and while I'm confident that this is not the end, I want him to just talk to me straight up.
Anyways, I know I rambled a lot, but I just want everyone's interpretations and if there are any questions I am willing to give my best answer. I'm not really looking for relationship advice either (although I am open to insights), but I am looking for theories to feed my delusions.

My head cannons for what Kamala would be like if she had a public identity
I was thinking about writing a fanfiction about an AU where she has a public identity.
I was thinking Kamala would become a celebrity especially in Jersey City since they would like having their own superhero.
In high school I was thinking Kamala would go from being known as the weird girl to one of the most popular girls in school. I was also thinking Kamala would endorse some of her favorite local businesses and in exchange they give her free products. I was thinking kamala's fanfictions will become more popular. When world of battlecraft find out she's a fan, I think they would offer her a free tour of the studio. I think Kamala for the most part would enjoy being famous but She would be afraid of letting her fans down.
I was thinking as a celebrity she wouldn't have any scandals except maybe occasionally saying something awkward but I think some fans would find that endearing because that would humanize her to them. I was also thinking she might have some haters because they would find it annoying that she sometimes pushes activist causes that she supports and that she tries to teach her fans about Pakistani and Muslim culture.
Bruno and Nakia after Kamala became popular, they became popular form the association at first they didn't quite like it because they're more aloof then Kamala but eventually they changed their minds and decide they liked being seen as the cool kids.
For her parents and brother I was thinking they would be happy for Kamala that she is having fun. But they worry the same might go to her to head and she might lose her nice nature. They also worry that kamala's fans might not really care about her and that this is just her 15 minutes of fame and when she loses it, she'll be crushed.

Short version. I started a business. Saw great success with my ads. Ordered more product to meet the demand (additional 12k order. First order was 8k) now my ad account had been disabled twice. and my budget has been lowered to $25 a day. If you were me what would you do?
This has taken place over the last 35 days.
-My ads were doing well and i was capped at $50 a day. Randomly facebook would allow me to spend $100-$110. then limit it back to $50.
-My ad account was disabled twice for adding new payment information. They would say my region isnt the same as my billing zip code but it was? The only thing I can think of is the advertiser I hired was from a different country. Both times this happened I submitted necessary info and got my account back within 1-2 days.
-my ads are about underwear but they have never been flagged. I made sure to cover up parts of the body that would be sensitive.
-Submitted 4 budget increase requests and denied each time. (the agent said it had no harm on my account. now I'm being told those have a negative affect in your account from fb support)
-Now my budget has been lowered to $25 USD. And they are telling me I have restrictions on how much I can spend and restricted certain features. Their reason: I have had ads be rejected for not complying with advertising policies. But i have literally never had an ad rejected.

So now my ask is this... Besides diversifying to other ad platforms (I've made the move to google ads) what do I do?
Do I make a new account? can I make a new account? Am I just screwed with facebook? Will waiting this out actually eventually increase my budget? Any insight is appreciated as I've put a lot of work and money into this business and its really stressing me out.

Hi folks!
I'm considering visiting Norway during late June/early July with the plan of flying to Oslo, and then renting a car and driving around the country to do some sightseeing and hiking. My plan is to be on the road for 5-6 days and then 2-3 days in each of the major cities.
I did a little bit of research online and most websites seem to suggest the very standard route from Oslo to Bergen, but I was hoping to get some tips on the most beautiful places to visit, even if they are a detour from the direct path between the two cities.
So I guess I have a few questions:

1. What are some must-see spots either in the cities or outside of them? I'm mostly interested in fjords and scenic routes, and maybe also some nice hikes that you can do in half a day.
2. Where should I be staying in the countryside?
3. Is it recommended to rent an electric car? Considering the price of gas in Norway and availability of charging stations
4. How difficult would it be for a vegan to find places to eat?

My 18 (almost 19) mo is great. Sweet. Lovely. Funny. He's the real bees knees. Except when I try to put him to bed. He's recently weaned himself, and since then, I have no idea what he wants in a bed time routine...
Our routine involves lots of pre-bed playtime and snuggles, then jammies and stories in mom & dad's bedroom then I take him to his room (we've tried stories in his room and he screams). I used to feed , rock, and sing to him in the rocking chair and he would fall asleep. Now, he points to his bed and whines if I try to rock him, so I take him to the crib and lay him down while rubbing his back or holding his hand and singing. He points, whines, and wants up. I try to hold him and rock him. Nope. He points back to his bed. I pick him up and try the rocking chair...repeat. Repeat. REPEAT.
I try to calmly talk him through what's going to happen - mom's going to read you a story, then we can rock in the chair or you can lay in bed...etc...but 90% of the time he's getting upset and will not settle.He's definitely tired when we start this routine, and he's overtired by the time he finally conks out - usually after getting upset and crying for a while. Sometimes I join in the crying :( It's so frustrating.
It breaks my damn heart. I used to love bedtime. It was peaceful and easy. Now I dread it. I just want to support him and make it a not horrible experience for both of us. I know part of it is age and attachment - I guess I'm just looking for some advice? Help? Words of encouragement?
PS - when dad puts him down he cries out for mom for a minute or two, but then essentiall he calms right down and falls asleep almost immediately. The issue is dad can't always put him to bed, nor do I want him to always put him to bed.
