I (f21) met my current boyfriend (m20) in august of 2021, we started dating extremely quickly (after only a month) and then ended up breaking up because long distance was too much while I was away at school. Again I was devastated but stayed because I loved him and he told me that I would still be his first priority and that nothing about the future we had planned out had to change. Recently I had started to get suspicious and started questioning holes in his story. He had told me that he got her pregnant at the end of july but all the evidence I found pointed that she had to have gotten pregnant in september. I brought this up to my boyfriend thinking it was good news just to find out that the entire time he has been lying to me. In reality he cheated on me and get her pregnant and he knew that the baby was his. He said that he didn't want to hurt my feelings but waiting this long has only made it worse. Had he brought up the cheating when it happened I probably could have forgave him for that separately from the whole pregnancy situation. I know that I should have broken up with him immediately but I still love him with everything in me. Am I crazy for still trying to find a way to be with him? He has decided in the past week that he does want to be a good father and a part time parent in the least. Which i'm having trouble coping with because he doesn't even know what that exactly entails since he's still learning and figuring things out with the mom. We are currently still together but not exclusive and have plans of meeting up to talk in person once he finally admits to his father what is going on.

On Monday, Quebec and Ottawa will unveil the financial support of "several hundred" million dollars that will be offered to General Motors (GM) to join the ranks of Quebec's battery industry, La Presse has learned. With regard to Energy Transition Valley, this strategy aims to position Quebec as a leader in the transportation electrification niche. Bécancour, Trois-Rivières and Shawinigan are to be part of the initiative.
The Detroit-based automaker's project is already underway in the Bécancour industrial park. Since last December, GM and its partner have owned an estimated 3.75 million square feet (348,189 square meters) of land south of Highway 30, which runs through the industrial park.
Another multinational, German chemical giant BASF, has also announced its intention to manufacture cathodes in Quebec. Details of the financial assistance to be granted to the company are not yet known.
Another American automotive giant, Ford, is expected to set up in the Bécancour industrial park. The company is currently in talks with the Legault government. The talks are considered serious, according to our information.

Medspouse is working this weekend so I will be home alone with 2 littles. A friend (who is not a medspouse) said her husband has to work on Monday and asked if we could hang out since she will be home with 2 kids. He rarely works on the weekend so she said she needs to get out with the kids. Of course I said yes because this is routine for us. Well it turns out, her husband’s job decided to give him the day off instead.
So she wait until 10:30am this morning to let me know they don’t feel like coming out and they just want to chill at home. She asks… did you partner end up getting the day off? Um no. That’s not how hospitals work. Doctors don’t randomly get days off that they’re scheduled for.
I’m just annoyed because she kept telling me they’re getting ready, they’re having a slow morning etc…so we were waiting and my kids were excited to hang out with their kids. Some people don’t get what regular solo parenting is really like. It’s like a once a year occurrence so it doesn’t mean anything. Ugh.

The mark of a good finale is revealing a new piece of information that shines new light on the same story and reveals character motivations that were hidden beneath the surface the whole time. I think we got that with the finale last night. I think so much emphasis was placed on Logan's corporate Succession plan through this series that we didn't realize how important Logan's genetic "succession" weighed on his mind and colored the narrative between the lines.
First off, all the kids achieve complete self awareness here at the end. Kendall keeps firing off lines that cut so close to the truth it feels like the audience POV:
"Maybe that is why you're better adjusted and I'm just a fake business pyscho"
"I'm a specific cog that only fits in this one machine"
"If you don't let me do this I might be dead"
Roman reaches full self awareness too -- not only is he bullshit and was never a proper candidate, but Kendall probably wasn't either. And honestly, Logan was right about the three of them not being serious people. Logan may not have gave off "deep longing to be a grandpa" vibes, but I think Roman saw that it WAS a big deal and that is why he calls it out right at this crucial moment. The subtext is a lot to unpack. Logan, a "good old boy", has a bi-racial adopted granddaughter and a grandson born through invitro that doesn't share his genes. He puts his hands on Iverson. He has that odd "fake poison" dinner gag with him. Deep down, he closed the door on the thought of Kendall carrying on his genetic legacy. Another reason why Tom has so much good will and leverage in his eyes -- he is his key to protecting the "Roy" legacy.
I think there is a case to be made that Logan crossed out Ken's name when he fully threw his lot behind Tom. It even tracks with him adding "Greg?" at the same time as the cross-off, if you view his decisions through that lens, Greg being the only other player with blood relation to Logan. Also recall the background plot of Logan trying to eat foods that boosted his sperm count so he could make a baby with Kerri. This WAS important to Logan, it was just never made that explicit.
Shiv knew that by keeping the baby, she would effectively be delivering her father the "real" grandbaby he expected, and this is why her story is just as much a tragedy as Kendall's. She is confused about being a mother, yet at least she knows she has this new bargaining chip that will give her leverage with her father, the fantasy she mentions to Tom of "grandpa bouncing his grandchild on his knee", but he dies right before making that a reality.
It explains Logan's divorce lawyer advice to Tom as well -- Logan did not want them to split. He wanted them to stay together, and have his grandchild, and keep Tom around as his pain sponge. The irony is that Matsson has carved out his own "Loganesqe" corner of this world and will now keep the abusive cycle between Shiv and Tom alive in this next chapter without Logan around. It adds context to Kendall's feelings of intensely disappointing his father, and his own conflicted feelings about not genuinely feeling a love and connection for his kids, but trying to pretend he does. It all goes back to Logan's existential dread at not securing a proper Succession of his lineage. In the end, I think he gives up on it in a way at the beginning of S4 -- and that is when he waxes poetic to Colin about life and death, and pivots to his "rebuild ATN like pirates" mindset. If his idiot kids can't protect his legacy, he'll go down with ship himself.
This is the full context we needed to understand this warped sibling dynamic living in the shadow of their father. Logan would make jokes about Kendall's kids "not being serious grandchildren" when he wasn't around. Shiv knows this well and even tries to stop Roman from going there because it hits a nerve. In the end, Shiv can't give her brother the win, whether to spite him or protect her own future, we can't say for sure. But what is apparent is that she falls in line to accepts her place in the world her father would have preferred - carrying his grandchild and empowering Tom to keep the good family name alive. Kendall knows this, Roman knows this, they all know this. The air has been cleared.
Roman is free, Shiv is anything but free (by her own choosing), and Kendall is stuck being followed around by his father's best friend, paying him to hover over his shoulder as a testament that his father was in fact capable of genuine connections, just not with him. A constant reminder of his past sins and his father's disappointment - a hired grim reaper of grief and shame.

I am asking for my mom as she doesn’t know how to use Reddit.
She has baked sourdough successfully for 3 years at home. It was glorious. Then about 4 months ago she needed to throw away the “mother1” and make a new one. The new one “mother2”, while keeping the same exact recipe, unfortunately is watery and will not rise. The sourdough she bakes comes out flat. She doesn’t know what is going on because nothing has changed from her original way of making it successfully.
Yeast water. Fermented 6days. Poured out yeast water. 1 yeast water:1 rye flour. Which will rise double overnight and it is correct. Throughout the morning she doesn’t feed. She will wait till night for the next feed. Same 1:1 ratio. Which worked before. But for some reason it doesn’t rise anymore and it is watery. What is she doing wrong? Is it the yeast?

WFH is an ideal job for me. But earning in foreign currency. That's a different world. Is it actually legit or is it just a fantasy?

I have a seven year old Epson Arteson 725 printer that seems to mess with my home wifi every time I turn it on. I haven't used it in several months because it was blurring colors. At the time I was working with it, I thought it seemed my wifi slowed whenever it was connected but I dismissed it as just my imagination. The past week I turned it on and tried it again. New cartridges, nozzle cleaning & head alignment routines, etc. Then I noticed my laptop was failing to complete internet searches and timing out. My wife's iMac was doing the same. After messing with it for three days, rebooting the router and every connected item, I unplugged the old printer. Rebooted everything again and my internet is back to blazing again. Could this printer actually be the culprit?
Also, since I couldn't solve the color printing problem, I decided to toss the printer. Should I just drop it in the dumpster?

I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes roughly 20 times consistently. For context - I just bought my house and moved in 2 months ago. It was pretty much impossible to create conditions for this to happen during the winter months when I was shopping for a new home. But every time my ac compressor fires up, the streetlight on the corner (roughly 15 feet from my property) goes out. It’ll come back on roughly 5 min later. This happens like clockwork.
Is this my problem or the utility companies problem? What’s going on here? I’m fairly positive that I’m being rightfully charged for my AC’s power consumption because I can see my bill (and power consumed) increasing. Just wondering if this is incredibly dangerous or not. Thank you.

Today is the last day of the SXTH memorial day sale and the downpipe they sell is being sold at a steal. I wanted to jump the gun and buy it but I wanted to see if my money would be better spent elsewhere or if I should go for it. I'm mainly curious about how the SXTH downpipe performs compared to competitors downpipes. If anyone has some knowledge or experience I'd really appreciate the help.

So, for a little context, this happened last September…I’m good friends with a girl and she always respected and liked my Tarot readings (I work full-time with Tarot mainly on instagram, and sometimes I’ve some readings at Etsy and Fiverr…but insta is where my baby Is flourishing). I’ve predicted correctly her pregnancy and gender. So she wanted me at her kids baptism as a guest and my bf as her dj for fun. Till here, everything is okay…till one night, a week before the baptism, she comes super irritated with her father because he didn’t wanted the witch at his grandkids baptism. Even saying that he would have the priest do something to the table I would be at…hello to the new witch hunt 🤷‍♀️ saying thinks like “I will make a scene if she comes” “I will do whatever it takes so she feels uncomfortable” (it’s not hard to make me, a social anxious potato uncomfortable)…
I’ve seen her father before and he always seemed so nice, and then…it’s not the first time that people judge me because of my work, I comprehend that they do not understand it and simply judge a book by its cover, but it deeply infuriates me in some way. Not feeling welcomed made me feel sick to my Stomach when I truly did nothing wrong. I’ve only helped his daughter and supported her through thick and thin.
I ended up crying my eyes out (forgot to mention that I’m sensitive af) but got my things together and ended up going so she wouldn’t lose her dj a week prior to the event, my bf didn’t wanted to go anymore due to the disrespect towards me, but I made everything ignoring my own feelings for her. He ignored me all day long not even saying hello like he did to all guests (thank god after all he said before).
Nowadays we are still friends but I just can’t be too much in her life so I don’t aggravate her dads feelings or something…just for being myself 🤷‍♀️ oh and her mom is a hairdresser who was the last person to cut my hair nearly two years ago and she cut too much leaving me with a strange hair cut, way shorter than I wanted (I was trying to let my hair grow and it went from nearly mid back to the shoulder.). And one time I bought her kid a present, went to her home to present her with it and her mom Called asking what the creature was doing at her home…needles to say that she never touched my hair again nor have I been at her home again….yeah both her parents have something against me, at least she smiled and said hello at the baptism, lol. How comforting!
This was last summer, and I’ve had other moments where I felt people where or are disgusted with what I do, or trying to use me because of it for their own benefit. Like old schools colleagues who never gave a damn about when when in school and now that I have my tarot job, I’m cool out of the blue, but you know what? At the end of a long day, when people who truly admire and respect my job compliment their reading and bring back positive feedbacks…that’s what give me fuel to not give up…because I have thoughts about giving up a million times…
And if you are reading this and would or are working full time with tarot: never let others opinion get too deeply into your skin. Do what makes sense to you and be happy while you’re doing it. We won’t get acceptance or respect from everybody, so let’s cherish the ones who do.

We then left Marlik’s house and started walking around the town again when Chris stopped and was staring at a building. “Hey Chris you alright?” Chris then turned to me “they actually have a vegan Mc Donald’s?, come on we have to get something to eat” Chris then grabbed me by the hand and we walked towards the restaurant and inside. We then order a couple fries, some apple and a soda. “So Lani how do you like the fries?” I turned towards Chris “they are delicious I mean I can’t believe these are made of plants and they sell them so cheap” me and Chris then talked for a bit as we walked back home.
