Just tonight, my (37M) father was basically goin off about how I should be on my phone the whole time. However, I was just only watching the new puss in boots movie with my (18M) cousin and (11F) little sister. I thought that was stupid and dumb. But now not only had he unknowingly lit a match, but is now going to burn one last bridge in his life. Me.
Like I said, I thought he was being stupid and shit like that. He said how it's always important to keep communication with family, yet, his family doesn't even keep contact with him. Hmmm... I wonder why (sarcasm).
For a little background info, I grew up in a religious household. It was always me, my sister, my dad and my (36F) mom. I thought things were always great. Until sometime near the summer of 2020, things were off.
My parents would argue a lot. I was always scared. One time when I was little, I said behind closed doors, "if they argue all the time, why don't they divorce?" Well, that part came true.
In 2020, my little sister was fast asleep. I however, was still awake, because of sleep troubles. Then my dad walked in from the side door of the kitchen, late at night. It was weird. Then my mother went up and questioned him. He was trying to play dumb and what not. My mother, however, is the smartest bitch alive. That is why I am my mother's daughter. Anyway, my mother kept saying you cheated on me, you cheated on me. Keep in mind, I was awake the whole time. And that was the first time I have ever had a panic attack. I was 11 years old at the time.
Now, I realized all the narcissistic behavior. He has always put me and my art down. He's always criticized me and how I look. Heck he even body shames my little sister because she has a bigger figure. He called her a busted up biscuit one time because she wore a dress. She's 11.
And he pulls this, "be glad I'm not a deadbeat dad" card a lot.
Oh, also, this man is homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, bigoted, and racist. This is the man I once called my "father"
My (28F) stepmom is married to him and I have my now (M) 8 month old brother. My cousin always chooses his side. So, if my dad, cousin, auntie, and father see this. Fuck you. fuck all of you in fact.
Dad, you have ruined my life. My mom, sister, and me have put up with your abuse for way to damn long, and you've pushed me to the edge. You've put the last straw that broke the camel's back. My only advice for you is to get help. Get therapy. Don't even try to manipulate anyone on your side anymore. My mom did a good thing leaving you.
Fix your broken relationship with your oldest child before you lose them forever.

I’m 19F (5’7’’ and 98 lbs if that matters) and last Monday my 85 pound dog ran into me in my yard and made me face plant on the ground. I hit my chest very hard, the wind was completely knocked out of me, and I thought my heart stopped for a second.
But after the fall I immediately felt pain in the right side in my ribs. It was really painful, so I tried to do research about what a broken rib felt like and breathing problems were a good indicator and I only had pain when I took like REALLY deep breaths, but that was it. I had no bruising or swelling and the pain only consistently occurred when I would move around.
As the days went on my right side hurt, but my lower back on the right side became more and more painful, to the point I was limping. I’ve had a recurring issue on my left side on my lower back before and I even had gone to PT for it in the past, so I wasn’t too concerned and chalked it up to muscle issues.
Today, I felt less pain in my back and ribs so I was a little more active, I cleaned my house, spent time outside, went for a drive, and now my ribs hurt more than they’ve ever hurt this entire time. I can hardly move, I’m near tears, they’re tender to the touch and it does hurt to breathe.
I’m just wondering if I should be concerned and go see a doctor or if this is just me irritating a healing muscle issue and should just take a few more days

When I apply my moisturizer, there is a burning sensation, and I notice that my skin still feels dry, just with a (gross) waxy layer sitting on my skin.
I heard that an issue may be that my protective skin barrier has been weakened, causing the moisturizer to be absorbed too fast, causing a burning feeling, and this may be a result of using an exfoliator every day. Should I stop using an exfoliator every day?
I also saw from other comments that I can mix my moisturizer with an oil like coconut oil. Is that true?
I am using just normal Vaseline Intensive Care, I don't think I am allergic to anything in this.

I have a 14-18m Male Black Lab & Chow mix. He is extremely reactive and always has been since I adopted him at 6m from a local shelter. He just saw a vet a month ago for an annual and got a clean bill of healh and is eating and going to the bathroom fine.
He is very high energy and daily routine consists of 1hr of 1:1 play with his best friend, and 1.5hrs of walking throughout the rest of the day. He shows absolutely no interest in any type of play other than wrestling and walking.
Issue: Last few weeks he has been acting like he wants to go out constantly, but when we go out he will walk a bit then just freeze and stare at me with this expectant look. His mouth hangs open and his lips stretch wide and he just stares. When I try and go a different direction he refuses, but he also refuses to go back home. When he finally do get back, he whines and doesnt want to go in. As best I can tell he doesn't seem in physical pain. My vet can't see me for 3 weeks (unless I ask for an emergency visit). Any thoughts on what could be going on?

I went through and did the bloodchill manor quest as normal and i also reloaded a save where i hadn't done the quest and recompleted it. I couldnt get the dialog to move to bloodchill to come up but i could for breezehome, I've heard of people living in bloodchill umodded and I've noticed the two beds in what i assume would be the children's room are tagged as owned beds so my assumption is that that's why i can't move my child and therefore my family over to there. Is there a way to unflag these beds/did i do something wrong?

I'm a 26 year old brit who's currently living in the North-East in England, in a town called Middlesbrough, not the most enchanting place but it'll certainly do 😂
As the title suggests I'm somewhat of a gamer, my favourite genre is RPGs, but I'll try any game atleast once. So if you've got any recommendations please do tell me! 😄 I'm an easy going guy with a good sense of humor. But when needed I can be a shoulder for you to lean on.
Outside of gaming, I really love animals and plants, and will happily sit and talk about them. I have 2 pet birds who I adore. But I adore all animals so please do send photos of yours 👀
I'm also somewhat of a technology geek. I absolutely love learning about machines, how they work, what they do etc. I built my own PC and love tinkering and upgrading, although my bank account doesn't 😭

My 38 y/o male fiancé: oxygen:96 Beats per Min: 55-62 currently. Lots of Smoke from fire inhalation. Vomiting violently in five, 8 min spells of heaving. Dizzy, exhausted, awful headache, dehydrated. Is HEART RATE: 55-62 TOO LOW?!? Go to ER!?
Other symptoms: vomiting since 8:00am off/on Splitting headache, he got a mouthful of smoke from inside pole tent. (Then sleeping directly next to it for two nights) plus elevation sometimes makes him sick.
Knee surgery about two months ago.
NO underline health symptoms were aware of. Hasn’t thrown up in an hour BUT his heart rate from our oximeter says it’s 55-62!! SO LOW!!?? concerning??
Although not vomited in over an hour-still horrific headache, no appetite, dizzy. LOW HR
We were camping & this morning before packing he started to throw up, heaving!Plus packing up camp & two hour ride home vomiting off/on. Probably every hour and a half -two hours he threw up violently. We camped inside a pole tent that has a stove to keep warm. He said he thinks he got too much smoke? (We all slept in same tent but he’d add logs & slept several feet closer to it, to keep us warm through the night. We all were breathing same smoky air, but him getting 75% of it.) Thank you for your help. I’m really worried. He doesn’t get sick like this, especially this long! Blessings. Stay healthy.
